The Grand Canyon & Pink Jeep Tours
A few weeks ago I made a journey I have never considered to make in my whole life. I visited the Grand Canyon for the first time. Not that I don’t think it’s not an important place, I mean it’s one of the seven wonders of the modern world, it’s just that I’m more of a city person than a nature person. So the Grand Canyon wasn’t on my bucket list, but that was what made the trip special because I didn’t expect how beautiful it could be.
I have a friend from Finland visiting. She wanted to go to the Grand Canyon, so we made reservations for the Grand Canyon tour on Pink Jeep Tours, which includes food, they pick you at the hotel you’re staying at in Scottsdale or Phoenix and you make a stop in Sedona. From Phoenix to the Grand Canyon it’s 4 hours, so it’s not that far, but since it was on tour it was going to take a while. Either way, Pink Jeep Tours made our trip excelent. The bus was comfortable and Jerry, our guide, was amazing and made the whole experience special. It’s very funny and on the way he would say random facts about plants and animals from Arizona’s dessert.
I can’t put into words how beautiful this trip and the Gran Canyon were. The best thing about the trip was that the road was snowy and that was my first snowfall. I hope you enjoy the pictures and happy new year!
Hace unas semanas realice un viaje que nunca en mi vida había considerado hacer: Fui al Gran Cañón por primera vez. No es que no lo considere importante, digo, es unas de las 7 maravillas del mundo moderno, pero simplemente soy una persona más de ciudad que de naturaleza. Entonces el Gran Cañón no estaba en mi bucket list, pero eso hizo que el viaje fuera especial porque no me esperaba lo hermoso que era.
Tengo una amiga de Finlandia visitándome. Ella quería ir a ver el Gran Cañón, entonces hicimos reservaciones para el tour del Gran Cañón en Pink Jeep Tours, que incluye la comida, te recogen del hotel donde te estás hospedando en Scottsdale o Phoenix y haces una parada en Sedona. De Phoenix al Gran Cañón son 4 horas, entonces no está muy lejos, pero como era tour iba a tomar algo de tiempo. Aún así Pink Jeep Tours hizo que el viaje fuera excelente. El camión está cómodo y Jerry, nuestro guía, fue magnífico e hizo que toda la experiencia fuera especial. Era muy chistoso y durante el camino te decía random facts sobre plantas y animales del desierto de Arizona.
No puedo explicar realmente en palabras este viaje y lo hermoso que es el Gran Cañón. Lo mejor del viaje es que en el camino estaba nevando y fue mi primera nevada. Espero disfruten de las imágenes y feliz año nuevo.
