Men’s Fashion: If the shoe fits…

Hi petites!
I’m so happy because tomorrow Spring Break begins. I don’t have any huge plan or going to the beach. I will be at my house with my family, watching some movies, eating nutella and maybe Disneyland (Yes, again).
Today I bring you this post from my dear friend Alex from The Casual Boardwalk.
It is about men’s shoes. They also like shoes as much as us, ladies 😛
Enjoy it very much.
xoxo

In order to dress & look sharp, every guy should have these five different shoe styles:

1)   The Matte Black Shoe

The matte black shoe is essential in any guys’ closet. Black goes with almost everything and anything. If you are wearing a print or something that stands out then you want to make sure that the shoes that you wear don’t take away from your outfit.

Seen in this picture is a solid black shoe from Salvatore Ferragamo Cap Toe Lace Ups available at Saks Fifth Avenue ($520).

2)   The Solid Brown Shoe

There will be outfits were you would want to stay away from dark colors, and in order to do so a perfect pair of brown shoes can help you do the trick. Brown shoes go best with earth-toned colors and neutrals such as beige, grey, or green.

Find these Rockport shoes at Nordstrom for $140

3)   The Loafer

Whether its black or its brown, every guy should own a pair of loafers! Loafers are best to be used during Spring & Summer due to its low heel and exposure. Picture yourself heading to a walk on a boardwalk, a trip to the park with your significant other, or even a nautical adventure such as riding a boat, loafers will sure give you effortless elegance and style.

These Cole Haan shoes are available at Macy’s for $100

4)   The Patent Leather Shoe

Heading to a party, wedding or a gala? Then take out those patent leather shoes! Patent leather shoes will give any outfit a pop of color due to its shininess. Adding patent leather shoes to a monotone outfit really ties everything together!

I sported these Hugo Boss patent leather shoes from Nordstrom ($225) on my wedding day!

5)   The “Color-Popping” Shoe

Loafers, shoes or even boots…whatever you decide to own make sure it has a unique color to spice up any outfit. Colorful shoes will give your outfit a color-block to make the shoes stand out. Picture wearing a two-piece grey suit with a white or black shirt and plum loafers…that sure will turn some heads!

Find these loafers at Aldo for just $130
